Low Odour Wood Finishes

Would you prefer to specify wood finishing products that don't give off strong vapours during use?

We have several high quality finishes which produce practically no odour at all. All are touch dry in around 30 minutes, are water based and offer easy brush on application. They are also suitable for use with all types of Floor Applicator.

Finney’s Extra Tough Floor Varnish and Finney's Extra Tough Varnish have a high urethane content making them especially suitable for heavy domestic and office use. These products leave a mellow tone and beautiful satin finish on floors, doors, furniture and joinery.

Finney's Extra Tough HardWax Varnish is based on Finney’s Extra Tough Floor Varnish but has special wax added amongst other ingredients to produce a very natural appearance. It produces a mellow tone a matt / satin sheen and is tough enough for heavy duty domestic floors.

The Best of Both Worlds
Finney’s Extra Tough Floor Varnish and Finney's Extra Tough HardWax Varnish are fully compatible. Try applying two coats of Finney’s Extra Tough Floor Varnish on floors followed by one or two applications of Finney's Extra Tough HardWax Varnish to create a silky waxed finish with superb resistance to everyday knocks and spills.

Finney’s Trade Acrylic Varnish is used where you would like the colour of the wood to remain relatively unaltered. It is suitable for standard domestic wear as flooring, and joinery. There's a choice of matt, satin or gloss finishes.
