Limed oak is popular but we're asked all the time for "limed pine". Unfortunately, pine has the wrong structure for genuine liming, so what can you do?

Liberon White Wood Dye is a white dye which does not totally obscure the wood leaving instead a bleached / limed effect. Brush on a thin application of dye wiping off all excess or instead apply using a pad of Lint Free Cotton Staining Cloth. To keep the colour as white as possible, it is very important that you use Finney’s Trade Acrylic Varnish or the surface will turn orange or 'cigarette' yellow over time.
